In the book Killing Hope, William Blum traces decades of US military and CIA interventions and argues that they were about stopping independent development anywhere it threatened US economic interests.

Join GBDSA for a workshop where we will break into small groups to dig into cases presented in this book. Then we'll come back together to map the playbook these interventions share. We'll wrap up the workshop by discussing what this history means for socialists organizing against U.S. empire today.

No prior reading is required and handouts with readings will be provided. Please RSVP so we can provide adequate materials!
